What a wondrous thing for kids!
How many of us see boredom as an opportunity to open the mind to creative or lateral thinking? To get in touch with and centre ourselves? Or to simply really hear ourselves?? Engaging our kids requires dedication and time - so having them get comfortable with being bored actually teaches them an interesting life skill - and gives you as a parent much more time to get bored yourself! :)
